Beverly Hills, 90210 Actor David Gail Dead at 58

Actor David Gail, known for his role as Stuart Carson on Beverly Hills, 90210, has passed away at the age of 58.

His sister, Katie Colmenares, confirmed his death in a heartfelt Instagram post on January 20.

Gail's acting career began with an appearance on Growing Pains in 1990, followed by roles on shows like Doogie Howser M.D. and Murder, She Wrote.

In 1991, he debuted on Beverly Hills, 90210 as a hotel bellhop named Tom and later returned in 1994 as Stuart, a love interest for Shannen Doherty's character Brenda Walsh.

Gail described his experience working with Doherty as positive, praising their good relationship and fun collaboration on scenes.

The actor's character, Stuart, had a storyline involving a whirlwind romance and engagement with Brenda Walsh, creating drama with her ex-boyfriend Dylan McKay.

Gail continued his career with roles on the drama series Savannah in the mid-90s, where he played Dean Collins, and as Dr. Joe Scanlon on Port Charles from 1999 to 2000.

 After his multiple-episode arc on Beverly Hills, 90210, Gail appeared in various shows, including ER and JAG.

Gail had roles in movies like the 2002 rom-com Bending All the Rules, featuring Bradley Cooper.

His last onscreen role was in the 2008 horror film The Belly of the Beast, and his final acting credit was a voiceover role in the 2019 video game Blacksad: Under the Skin.
